I cannot adequately express in words how much Susie Jordan has meant to me, my family and most importantly, my son Torey. He was diagnosed with autism at age 4. Susie was the first ABA therapist trainee that we interviewed and hired to work with our son in Alexandria , Virginia . She was in our home on nearly a daily basis for more than two years, and was instrumental in his therapy program from its inception. When military orders necessitated our move from Washington , D.C. to San Diego , Susie volunteered to move with us in order to see to his program continuity. She continued to work with him for several more years here in San Diego . I credit Susie’s talents, compassion and dedication to my son and family with the largest share of every success he has achieved. Today, Torey is 17 and “on-grade” as a Junior at S.R.H.S. He plays piano and ice hockey, and dreams of working in the animation department for Disney Studios someday.
I cannot put a price on what Susie Jordan has meant to Torey. Between ages 2 and 3, Torey lost all speech. She literally taught him to speak, and is responsible for so many other of his successes. She is a young woman of exceptional talent, integrity and compassion. Any family would be lucky and privileged to have her in their child’s life.
